Patricia Lowe

Burlington, NC Patricia "Pat" Calhoun Harper Lowe, age 71, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 10, 2011 at the Hospice Home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Kentucky and the daughter of the late Joseph Clement and Erna Mae Morris Calhoun. Pat retired from Carolina Cook Industries and later retired from Apple House Cafeteria. She was a member of Today's Church of Hope and she enjoyed music and dancing. Pat was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Rose Morse of Graham and Jill Marie Szymankiewicz and her husband, Ronald of Graham; sons, Harold Eugene Harper, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of Yanceyvillle, Joseph Keith Harper and his wife, Pamela of Swepsonville and Jack Lee Harper and his wife, Amanda of Graham, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Harper, Sr., son, Donald Kelly Harper, parents and sister, Joann Riley. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel and the burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the home.
