Burlington, NC Patricia Ann "Patty" Jarrett Fitz went to be with the Lord February 15, 2013, at the Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She was a former resident of Burlington and lived for many years in Brooklyn, New York. Patricia was born December 8, 1947 in Martinsville, VA. She attended Bassett High School where she was a BETA Club member and school journalist for the Martinsville Bulletin. She attended the Virginia Baptist Hospital School of nursing in 1966-67 and transferred to the Medical College of Virginia where she received a degree as an EEG Technician. Pat loved children and loved to give and as a young girl, volunteered her time at the Martinsville General Hospital where she was born. She will be greatly missed by her family. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Mable Jarrett Dudley of Lynchburg, VA. She is survived by her son, Johnathan Dan Wilson and wife, Jennifer of Snow Camp and 3 grandchildren. She is also survived by her Dad, Ralph L. Jarrett and wife Hazel Burke Jarrett of Burlington, NC and her sister, Lynn Jarrett Stephens and husband Ron of Lynchburg, VA; half brother, Douglas Jarrett and wife. Trish of Greensboro; half sisters, Deborah Jarrett of Greensboro and Anita Albright and husband, Charles of Burlington;three nephews; two great nieces and three great nephews. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Pine Hill Cemetery by Rev. Larry Redding and Pastor Howard Thompson. Memorials may be made to Burlington Assemblyof God, 821 Tucker Street, Burlington, NC 27215.
