Pamela Farris

Pamela Faye "Pam" Farris, 77, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, April 15, 2017 surrounded by her family. Pam was born in Columbus County to the late Van V. Richardson and Eva Mae Little Richardson and was the wife to the late Carroll Ballard Farris for 57 years, who died in July 2016.

Pam retired after 25 years with Alamance Regional Medical Center and was an active member of Northside Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Karen and Steve Purvis, Lori and Jimmy King, David and Mandy Farris, Mitzi Mason; grandchildren, Jason, AJ, Julie, Sarah and Jake; great grandchildren, Jude and Nora and a sister, Judy Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Mitchell with the burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the daughter, Lori King's home in Burlington.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all the caregivers and Hospice staff for all their compassion and loving care that was given to Pam during her illness.
