Owen Bell

Owen Leroy Bell, 84, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the Hospice Home surrounded by his family. He was born in Wayne County to the late Leon Edward Bell and Lola Myers Bell and was the husband to Juanita Butler Bell of 63 years who survives.

Leroy retired after 45 years with American Bakery/Merita Bread Store. He was a member of City Lake Baptist Church and a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict where he received a Purple Heart.

Survivors other than his wife, Juanita Bell include his sons, Owen Bell and wife, Julie and Brian Bell; daughters, Tracy Bell and Heather Bell; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

The graveside service will be held 11:00am Tuesday June 28th at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Curtis Oakley. There will be no visitation.
