Otto Zaiser

Rev. Dr. Otto "Al" Herman Zaiser, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the University of Miami Hospital. Dr. Zaiser was born June 25, 1933 in Richmond Hill, New York to the late Herman and Frieda Klaiss Zaiser. Dr. Zaiser was the husband of Barbara Hoffmeyer Zaiser who preceded him in 2006. He was a retired ordained American Baptist Minister; Al served as a supply pastor in the Greensboro, Burlington, and Danville, Va. area; he was also a member of the Interfaith Clergy in New Jersey and a member of Springwood Presbyterian Church in Burlington. Survivors include two sons, Greg Zaiser and his wife Michelle of Gibsonville, and Mark Zaiser of Stone Mountain, GA; two grandchildren, Noah Zaiser and Luke Zaiser both of Gibsonville. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Zaiser's brother-in-law, the Rev. Selby Gration officiating.
