Ora Smith

Ora Catherine Ingold Smith, 101, of Gibsonville passed away on Friday, June 29, 2012 at Liberty Commons. She was born in Guilford County to the late Boston Robert "Boss" and Martha Barber Ingold and was married to the late Walter Leslie Smith. She was a member of Apple's Chapel Christian Church, the Women's Fellowship and the Angie Crews Sunday School Class. She is survived by her son, Robert Jane Smith of Gibsonville; grandchildren, Sandra Jackie Carter, Ken Susan Whitesell and Todd Kelly Smith all of Gibsonville; ten great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Jean Whitesell and siblings, Sallie Allen, Earlie Ingold, Mae Lee Andrews and Vester Ingold. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Apple's Chapel Christian Church by Rev. C. Allen Myers III and Rev. Eric Dudley with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 Sunday evening at the Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the son's home, Robert Smith.
