Ollie Andrews

Ollie Mae Iseley Vaughn Andrews, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the Hospice Home. She was born January 4, 1924 in Alamance County to the late Clem Wade Iseley and Lydia Alma Keck Iseley. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband of 41 years, Charlie Vaughn, a daughter Melody Vaughn Clark, a son Wade Vaughn, a sister Sara Lea Iseley Stanfield and two infant brothers. She was a member of Berea Christian Church where she worshipped and served for many years. She is survived by her husband of 23 years Vernon Andrews, daughters; Linda V. Roger Way of Gibsonville, Amy V. Lee Loy of Asheville, NC, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, sisters; Ida Ruth Overby and Lydia Berry, a step daughter Rebecca Wicker of Atlanta and a step son Donald Andrews of Burlington. The funeral will be held 3:00 PM Sunday at Berea Christian Church by Rev. Bland Leebrick, Jr., and Rev. Mark Robertson. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 3-5 PM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home.
