Just hours after coming into this world, Olivia Quinn Moore passed away peacefully in her parents' arms at the Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC. During her fleeting life, she touched deeply the lives of her parents and left an indelible mark on their hearts. And though her life was short, she will always be remembered as a precious gift of love.

Olivia weighed a mere 6 lbs, 11 oz, and was only 21 inches tall but her life touched our hearts in huge ways. The first child of Laura and Daryl Moore, she was born strong, full of life and able to grip her mother's finger and respond to her father's touch during her brief stay on earth. She had a full head of dark hair and the face of one of God's tiniest little angels . . . a face one could not help but love. She was born at 12:41 a.m. on July 20th and died hours later. She now rests safely in the palm of God's loving hands.

She is survived by her father and mother, Daryl and Laura Crank Moore; her paternal grandmother, Martha Moore; maternal grandparents, Stewart and Martha Crank; a great aunt and uncle, Jacques and Sarah Shy; two great grandmothers, Doris Sager and Helen Crank; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and a large extended family.

A private funeral service for family and close friends will take place at Front Street United Methodist Church's Chapel in Burlington at 3:00 p.m. on July 30, followed by a gathering time. The Rev. Shane Benjamin will preside. The family would like to thank the Wake Medical Center staff for their effort and dedication and all who have reached out during this most difficult time.
