Oline Taylor Webster, formerly of Altamahaw, was called to her Heavenly home on September 10, 2010 at 9:30 p.m. at Alamance Healthcare Center. Mrs. Webster was born to the late R.C. "Bill" Taylor, and "Mamie" Sutton Taylor, and was married to the late Charlie W. Webster. She was a homemaker. Oline had many God-given talents. At age six, she was playing the guitar on radio station WBBB. For many years, she traveled with her sister Patsy, daughter Pam, and the late Bobby Minnis, as the "Revivalaires," ministering at various churches in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina, and recorded three gospel albums. Not only did she sing, but could play the piano, fiddle, guitar, mandolin, banjo, autoharp and accordion. She served the Lord with gladness, as a member of Altamahaw Pentecostal Holiness Church now CrossWay Church, and in more recent years, attending Glen Raven Baptist Church. She leaves behind her daughters Janice Webster Jobe and husband Jimmy, and Pamela Webster Tucker Patton and husband Richard; grandchildren, Jennie Jobe Matkins and husband Anthony, Jada Jobe Clampitt and husband Gary, Travis Tucker and wife Maryann, and Nathan Patton; great grandchildren, Kaytie, Kyle and Hallie Clampitt, Benjamin and Lindsey Matkins, Christina Zachary, Charlie and Addison Tucker; sister Patsy Taylor Fann and husband Rev. Bobby Fann. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. The funeral will be held at Glen Raven Baptist Church on Glen Raven Road at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 13 with Rev. Bobby Fann, Rev. Mike Johnson and Mrs. Ebbie Murray. The family will receive friends at Glen Raven Baptist Church from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Bethlehem Christian Church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Glen Raven Baptist Church T.V. Ministry, P.O. Box 4158, Glen Raven, NC 27215. The family would like to offer their sincere appreciation to those "special" staff members, who genuinely loved and cared for our mother, while she was at Alamance Healthcare for the past five years. A special thanks to her wonderful roommate Ruth Ligon, who was so kind to her.
