Norman Dieterle

Burlington-Norman John Dieterle, 72 passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at ARMC. He was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Charles and Dorothy Hagman Dieterle. He was the husband of 45 years to Carol Ann Skowronski Dieterle who survives.
Norm retired Lucent Technologies and was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Norm coached soccer, baseball and basketball for his kids teams over the years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of the home; Carol Ann Dieterle; sons, Brian Dieterle of Greensboro; granddaughter, Victoria Tucker; nephew, Richard "Richie" Geyer; nieces, Lucille McCormick, Laura Jean Ponczek and Donna Mitortando; great nieces, Emily Ponczek and Tara Sullivan and several other nieces and nephews. Norm's canine companions, "Stella' and "Jake". He was preceded in death by his son, Norman Charles Dieterle; parents; sister and brother-in-law, Lorriane and Richard Geyer; brother and sister - in-law, Charles and Ruth Dieterle.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Briant Cullinane, OFM. Conv.. The family will receive friends following the service and other times at the home.
