Norma White

Mrs. Norma Clark White, age 76, formerly of McKinney St., died Friday, June 10, 2011 her birthday at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. Born in Avery County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Madge Duckworth Clark. She was a longtime waitress at Hueys Seafood and later was employed at American Multi-Media. Mrs. White is survived by two daughters, Lisa Nichols and her husband, Perry, of Elon and Toni Esling and her husband, Harry, of Myrtle Beach; two sons, Craig White and his wife, Susan, of Elon and Sterling White of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Matthew Bennett, Sarah White, Katie White, Victoria White, Chandler White, Alexandria White and Gracie White; two sisters, Jean Page and Thelma Wilson, both of Burlington; and a brother, David Clark of Charlotte. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Bill Gindlesperger. Entombment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday evening at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Lisa, at 509 Truitt Dr., Elon.
