Nellie Moss

Graham, NC Nellie Mae Rudd Moss, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late John Theodore Moss. Nellie was a homemaker and member of New Covenant Fellowship Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Baldwin and her husband, Kenneth, Annie Hayes and her husband, Bobby and Jean Harrison all of Graham; son, John E. Moss and his wife, Joan of Graham; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and four step great great grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Rimmer of Burlington and Evelyn Simons and her husband, Frank of Burlington; brothers, Lee Rudd of Altamahaw, George Rudd and his wife, Polly of Elon, Walter Rudd and his wife, Marie of Elon. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Theodore Moss and her parents, George David Rudd and Minerva Smith Rudd; brothers, Leonard, Lacy and Jimmy Rudd. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. David Neff and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
