Nellie Mae Page Reid Robertson

     A native of Caswell County she was the daughter of the late Authur Birtch Page and Rosie Smith Page. 

   Nellie was a faithful member of the Primitive Baptist Church.  She was known for her green thumb and her independent spirit.  She wanted to live on her own as long as she could and even drove herself up to the age of 89.  She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, watching her favorite shows on TV and was the keeper of the secret family pie recipe. 

   Nellie is survived by her daughters; Tammy Reid and Donna Schmidt (Jay), step-daughters; Vicky Craven and Donna Summers (Guy), grandchildren; Cassie Reid, Jolanda Williams, Deual Mann (Melissa Solomon), Meagan Son (Tain), Jamie Mann and Alesha Bates (Robert), great grandchildren; Brooklyn Mann, Emma Solomon, John Thomas Mann, Zoya Williams, Rhun Tain Son, Mila Son, Lucas Bates, Dreama Mann and Jace Ross, several step grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as a brother; Winfred Page.  She was preceded in death by husbands; James Leinister Reid, Bill Brintle and Bruce Mirrett Robertson, a daughter; Wanda Reid, brother; Billy Page and sister; Rovena Ward.    

     A service to celebrate her life will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Gilliam Primitive Baptist Church by Elder Ray King with burial to follow in the Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Lowe Funeral Home
