Nelle Little

Burlington, NC Nelle Bates Little, formerly of 704 Timberlake Rd., Anderson, SC, passed away peacefully at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. A native of Honea Path, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lela Bridges Bates and Luther Green Bates, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Boulevard Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Blackman and husband Allen of Burlington, NC and one grandson, Eric of California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William "Bill" Little, infant daughter, Julia Annette Little and two brothers, L.G. and Harold O. Bates. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Boulevard Baptist Church Chapel by Rev. Dr. Johnny McKinney with the burial to follow at Garden of Memories. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Cox Funeral Home is serving the Little family.
