Burlington-Neal Lee Britten, currently spelled Neal Lee Britton, age 66, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016. He was born in New York City the 4th son of the late David Lee Britten and Helena Dancy. Neal retired from the VA Medical Center in Northport LI, NY as an Electrical Equipment Worker in Biomedical Engineering. He served in the United States Army; was stationed in Korea and honorably discharged from Company B, of the 1/31st Infantry Battalion 7th Infantry 8th Army, during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his Fiance', Glinda Rose Jeffries of Burlington; Step Son's, Jamie Myree and Ralph Myree; Step daughters, Heather Jackson and Channelle Pender; Sister, Beatrice H. Britten-Collins; Nieces, Averil Collins, Beatrice L. Britten and Zaire Britten; Nephew-in law, Jerry Moore; as well as a host of Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. Neal is preceded in Death by his parents; David Lee Britten and Helena Dancy; his brothers; David Britten, Milton Britten,and Joseph Britten; and his Niece Davida Moore. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at Pine Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by the 82nd Airborne. The family will have a gathering on Friday from 9:45-10:45 am prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
