Nathan Cheek

Nathan Monroe Nappy Cheek, 86, of 2255 Huffman Mill Rd. died on Friday, September 14, 2007 at his home after one year of failing health. He was born in Alamance County, son of the late James Clarence and Lillie Coble Cheek and was married to Tommie Jones Cheek who survives. He was the original owner and operator of Nappys Que Lounge. He is survived by his wife of the home; son, Nathan M. Cheek, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Graham; two daughters, Linda Mitchell and Janice Whitesell, both of Burlington; two grandsons, Warren Martin of Burlington and Nathan M. Cheek III of Graham; three great grandchildren and a sister, Doris Lutterloh of Burlington. The graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Norman Whitney officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 3:30 PM Sunday prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
