Nancy Shepherd

Elon- Nancy Irene Hall Shepherd, 71, of 7188 Sockwell Rd. passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Shepherd was born on December 22, 1934 in Guilford County to late Robert Hall and Nita Underwood Summers and was married to the late Donald Herbert Shepherd. She was a member of Bethlehem Christian Church and the Altamahaw-Ossipee Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors include a daughter, Donna White and her husband Swanson of Elon; a son, Daniel Shepherd and his fiancee Amy Kish of Elon; three grandchildren, Ashley and Leann White of Elon and Christopher Birmingham of Illinois; three sisters, Betty Lou Williams, Pat Hill, and Pam Atkinson all of Burlington. Funeral service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 11, 2006 at Bethlehem Christian Church by Dave Gilbert. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. Friday, November 10, 2006 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the family will be at the home of the daughter Donna White 7188-A Sockwell Rd. Elon.
