Nancy Polk

Burlington-Nancy Haney Biniecki Polk left her earthly home and joined her Heavenly father on Dec. 14, 2017. A devout Christian, she is reuniting with her mother Alma Wicker Haney and Fred (Dutch) Haney. Also joining in the reunion will be her daughter Deborah and Deborah's father Gordon Biniecki. Her second husband Chet Polk will welcome her also.
She left behind her son Tony Biniecki, his wife Carolyn and their son Gordon Anthony (Tony) of Texas. Also left were Deborah's children Justin and Christopher of Florida. She shared 6 step children with Chet Polk. Part of her loving family in North Carolina is Charles (Ellen) and Larry Hursey, Bernice Wicker Emmons, Vivian Wicker May, Sonny Huffman and wife Kaye. Her many friends of Gibsonville and its class of 1957 will miss her wonderful smile and mischievous big brown eyes. The family thanks all who helped her through this transition especially Syd Fazar.
Nancy was a loving, caring person, who never failed to help someone who needed her. She loved animals, and was prone to collect and nurture them. Her other love was gardening, her green thumb was renown. Flowers, tomatoes and cuttings were shared with everyone.
