Nancy Moore

Burlington, NC Nancy Hariett Kinney Moore, age 98, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Burlington Manor. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Walker Clarence Moore. She was born on August 8, 1908 to Martha Eakes and John Luther Kinney. Nancy was a member of The First United Methodist Church of Elon and she retired from the Alamance-Burlington School System in food service. She enjoyed traveling especially to the West Coast to spend time with her family. Nancy was a faithful Hospice Volunteer for many years at the Annual Hospice Flea Market. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, seven brothers and three sisters. She leaves many nieces and nephews that were devoted to her-she will be soley missed. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Elon by Rev. Terry Huffines and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the Narthex of the church.
