Nancy Garmon

Mrs. Nancy Loranger Garmon, age 78, of Tabor City, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Trident Medical Center in N. Charleston, SC after a complication from surgery.

Born in West Warwick, RI, she was the daughter of the late Alfred & Pearl Loranger and was married for over 60 years to the love of her life Mr. Johnnie B. Garmon, who survives. She was the co-owner and operator of Garmon Housing Center and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Green Sea, SC.

Mrs. Garmon is survived by her husband of Tabor City; her four children, Deborah Wingard and husband, Tom, of Charleston SC, Angelena Stone and husband, David, of Larkspur, CO,  Jennifer Armstrong and husband, Lance, of Wilmington, NC and Johnnie Garmon, II and wife, Kelley, of Rock Hill, SC; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Frances Loranger Hartley of Tabor City NC and Dorothy Loranger Washburn of Thomasville NC.   She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David Loranger.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Rev. Marcus Fowler.
