Nancy Ferguson

Nancy J. Ferguson, 83, formerly of Spring Meadow Dr. passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Hospice Home following seven months of failing health. She was the wife of the late Raymond John Ferguson and was born May 8, 1928 in Caswell County to the late John Albert and Amy Wagoner Johnston. Nancy had worked at May Hosiery and later retired from Morris Fur Company. She was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and active in the Ladies Circle. Survivors include her son John Ferguson and his wife Connie of Eatonton, GA, grandchildren, Sean Ferguson and his wife Leigh, Lori Boyer and her husband Rick, Katie Carroll, great grandchildren, Madison Ferguson, Chandler Ferguson and Zachary Roberson. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters, Mildred Thomas, Katheleen Miles, Coleen Hester, Ruby Mae Spoon, brothers, Albert Johnston and Daniel Johnston. The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jennie Leake Hemrick. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 10-10:45 AM Tuesday prior to the funeral.
