Nancy Susan "Susie" Ball

Burlington – Nancy Susan “Susie” Ball, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Hospice Home after several months of failing health. A native of Alamance County, she was born November 8, 1950 to the late Huey Nelson Ball, Sr. and Annie Louise Hollar Ball.

Susie was of the Baptist faith.  She enjoyed needlepoint work, writing poetry and spending time with her cats.

She is survived by her sisters, Priscilla L. Carter, Anna Marie Woods and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margaret Norris; brother, Huey Nelson Ball, Jr. and brother-in-law, Roger Carter.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Pine Hill Cemetery by Rev. Derick McKinney.  She will be available for public viewing on Saturday from 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
