Nadine Wyrick Boyles, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 20, 2023 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was born in Rockingham County on August 3, 1929 to the late Herman Madison Wyrick and Zona Anita Cook Wyrick and was the wife of the late Denton Ray Boyles.
Nadine was a member of Gibsonville Christian Church. She enjoyed playing cards, Rook especially with many of her friends and family. Nadine had a passion for dancing. She always liked to watch baseball and was a Yankees fan. Nadine was a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice King (Beverly) of Gibsonville; grandchildren: Tammy Coley (Chris), Annette Mitchell (Randy), Ray Stutts (Tina), Darren Stutts, and Pam Chrisco (John); great grandchildren: Chris Stutts, Kelli Stutts, Emily Stutts, Dylon Mitchell, William Stutts, Grantt Mitchell, Austin Coley, and Silas Coley; great-great grandchildren: Tylan Moore, Ivy Moore, and Braxton Stutts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, Nadine was preceded in death by a daughter, Shelby Jean Boyles; a sister, Loretta Ward, and a brother, Harold Wyrick.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Gibsonville Christian Church by Rev. William Baker and the burial will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 prior to the service on Friday at the church and other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Gibsonville Christian Church, 325 Burke Street, Gibsonville, NC 27249 and/or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
