Myrtle Faucette

Myrtle Rebecca Workman Faucette, 84, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at her home after several months of failing health.  A native of Alamance County, she was born December 3, 1936 to the late Lonnie Robert and Ina Melissa Scarlett Workman and was the wife of 64 years to the late Robert Jhue Faucette.

Myrtle was a member of Shamrock Evangelical Methodist Church and a charter member of Peoples Memorial Christian Church.  She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Gary Faucette (Deborah); daughter, Donna Hunter (Richard); grandchildren, Jeannie Collins (Jeff), Kimberly Hughes (Aaron), Kristen Wilson, Brock Faucette and Stephanie Dineley (Patrick); great grandchildren, Trinity, Brandon, Tabytha, Haley, Miranda, Darius, Daisha, Kendall, Charlie Ann and Ryan and a sister, JoAnn Roberson (Hal).  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, grandson, Brandon Hunter and brothers, Lonnie, Robert, and Marion Workman.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021at 11:00AM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Brian C. Wardlaw with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 2-4PM on Sunday, June 27, 2021at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the daughter, Donna’s home in Haw River.
