Mrs. Beatrice Wallace

Mrs. Beatrice Elizabeth Soots Wallace, 73, of 7600 Farwood Rd., died Monday, August 29, 2005 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after an illness of several weeks. A native of Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Paris A. Soots and the late Emma Parrish Soots and was married to John Junior Wallace, who survives. She was a homemaker who was active in making crafts and was an avid gardener. Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Evans of Collinsville, VA and Mrs. Betty Smith of Burlington; a brother, Leonard Soots of Burlington; three nieces, Cathy, Sue, and Penny; and four nephews, David, Ronny, Wesley, and J.T. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2005 at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. Brian Ayers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 1:30 PM Thursday afternoon at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home. Condolences may be sent to the family at lowefh@bellsouth.net.
