Mozell Cobb

Elon, NC Mozell Page Cobb, 93, of Pagetown Road, passed away at her home, as she wished, on Monday, January 25, 2016, surrounded by family and friends who loved her dearly. She was a native of Caswell County born on March 12, 1922 to Phillip Sanford Page and Mary Hawkins Smith Page. She was married to Melvin W. Baker in 1942, who lost his life serving in World War II in 1944. She went on to marry Charlie H. Cobb in 1947 and was married for over 50 remarkable years before his death in 1998. Mozell is survived by her daughters, Carol Baker Belton and husband, Richard Belton and Jo Ann Cobb Williams and husband, Larry Williams; grandchildren, Kim B. Traynham, Richie Belton and wife Darlene, Heath Williams and wife Bobbi Jean, and Nikki W. Cole and husband Denny; great-grandchildren, Blair & Bailey Traynham, Luke & Wyatt Belton, Heather, Hayden & Hudson Williams, and Jackson & Jake Cole. The family would like to thank all of Mozells caregivers who, over the years, so graciously loved her as their own. Also, a special thank you to the angels of Hospice who enabled her to remain at home during the last few months. The visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at Lowe Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church by Elder David Underwood and Pastor Darrell Massey and the burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will receive friends at 1317 Pagetown Road.
