Mildred Welch

Burlington Mrs. Mildred Virginia Massey Welch, age 75, formerly of Albany, Georgia, died on Friday, July 28, 2006 at the Hospice Home on Chapel Hill Road in Burlington, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, James D. Welch; her daughter, Sharon Gail Daniel; her mother Lucile Goodson Massey; her father, Mr. Bennett L. Massey; her sister, Montez Massey Mosling, and brother, James L. Massey. Survivors include her sons, George E. Daniel, Jr. of Bainbridge, Georgia and Michael P. Daniel, MD of Burlington, North Carolina, and five grandchildren, Jason Christopher Daniel, and Jessica Ashley Daniel of Bainbridge, Georgia and Nicole Page Daniel, Garrett Michael Daniel and Stephanie Marie Daniel of Burlington, NC. She is also survived by two sisters, Louise Massey Strauss and Marjorie Massey Willis and by a brother, Joseph Bennett Massey. Memorials may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215, who enabled her to die with comfort and dignity.
