Mildred McPherson

Graham Mildred Terrell McPherson, age 89, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Alamance Health Care. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Levi Allen and Myrtle Rickman Terrell and wife of the late Roy W. McPherson. She was a longtime member of Haw River Christian Church where she served on the Board of Trustees and taught the Banner Sunday School Class. She retired from Tower Hosiery Mill. She is survived by her brother, Donnie L. Terrell, Sr. and wife Darlene of Reidsville; sister, Lydia Crawford of Hillsborough and grandchildren, James Lewis Rosser, Jr. and Beth Rosser Roberson. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, James Terrell, Evelyn Garner and Annie Leigh Terrell and a granddaughter, Joanna Rosser Sims. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. James Rosser. Interment will follow in Graham Memorial Park. Mrs. McPherson will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00pm until 1:45pm Saturday, prior to the funeral service.
