Mildred Kenyon

Mildred Joyce Kenyon, 79, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Burlington Manor. Mrs. Kenyon was born March 17, 1929 in Rockingham, County to the late Reuben Lee and Mary Belle Dodson Joyce. She was the wife of the late Joseph Arlington Kenyon who preceded her in 2003. Mildred was a homemaker and attended Word of Life Family Church. Survivors include her daughter, Joann Corella of Chino, Ca; a son, Curry Kenyon of Burlington; two grandchildren, Pierce Kenyon and Caroline Kenyon; three brothers, Thomas Joyce of Burlington, J. B. Joyce of Graham, and Wayne Joyce of Lakewood, Fl; two sisters, Betty Cates of Washington State, and Polly Mills of Elon. A cryptside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Rich Fennelle officiating.
