Mickey Allen

Mickey K. Allen, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the Hospice Home. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Mike Dewey Barber and Frances Kay Satterfield Hodgins who survives. She was the wife of 35 years to Nathan Allen of the home. Mickey attended Lamb's Chapel. She was a loving wife, mother and great grandmother and will be missed by all who's lives she touched. Survivors include her husband of the home; a son, Tim Baldwin of Cape May, NJ; a daughter, Angel Allen of Burlington; grandchildren, Brianna Wick and husband, Richard, Marissa Baldwin, Gracyn Allen-Ingle and EmmaRae Allen-Ingle; great grandson, Nathan Christopher Wick; mother, Frances Kay Satterfield Hodgins and a brother, Joe Hucks and wife, Sue of Raleigh. She is preceded in death by her father. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Don Overman. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:45 prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
