Michael Solomon

Michael Gray Solomon, 46, passed away Friday, January 18, 2008 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. Mr. Solomon was born April 8, 1961 in South Hill, Virginia to James Henry Solomon and Mabel Simmons Solomon. He was owner and operator of M&L Solomon Trucking and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors other than his parents include his wife, Lisa Solomon of Elon; a daughter, Mandy S. Coffin and her husband Bo of Elon; four sons, Michael G. Solomon, Jr. and his wife Stephanie, James Henry Solomon, II, Bruce Ray Solomon, and Branndon Wade Solomon, all of Elon; three grandchildren, Tristian Coffin, Hayleigh Solomon and Michael Solomon, III; three brothers, Wade Solomon, Danny Solomon, and Scott Solomon, all of Elon; two sisters, Diane Kilmer of Elon and Eva Fulcher of Yanceyville; father and mother-in-law, Wade and Ethelene Porter of Elon; many nieces and nephews, and special friends, Becky and Garland Troxler of Elon. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2008 at Maranatha Baptist Church, by Rev. Garland Simmons. Interment will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
