Michael Lewis

Pinnacle, NC Michael Phillip Lewis, age 51, of 1030 Christian Dr., passed away Monday July 7, 2008 at J.R. Jones Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Kelly Brooks Lewis and son of the late Nolan Phillip and Margaret Haste Lewis. He had worked as a florist in the Gibsonville area as well as Winston-Salem. He was president of the N.C. Florist Assoc., a graduate of Randolph Community College, attended Liberty University and was a member of Rural Hall Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Brooks Lewis of the home; step children, Kyle Brooks and Kelsey Groce; brother, Jerry Wayne Lewis and wife Becky of Burlington; sister Deborah Cranfill and husband Smoot of East Bend; nieces, Catherine Cranfill and Kimberly Lewis and nephew, Jerry Wayne Lewis, Jr.. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the Rural Hall Church of God by Rev. Rick Hudson. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 6-8 PM Friday and again from 9-10:45 AM Saturday at the Rural Hall Church of God, prior to the funeral service.
