Michael Edmond Lee

Edmond “Michael” Lee, age 74, of Burlington NC, passed away to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 9, 2022 at AuthoraCare Hospice Home of Burlington after a long battle of failing health.  He was born in Florence, SC, to the late Pastor Edmond Charles and Agnes Jane Edwards Lee and late brother, Mitchell Gray Lee.  He leaves behind Betty, his wife of 54 years and children Lisa Marie Lee Green and husband Rich, of Lincolnton NC, Michael “Charles” Lee of Burlington, Joseph Mark Lee of Graham and Angela Dawn Lee Wilson and husband Ashley, of Elon. He was Papa to eight wonderful grandkids, Emily Wilson, Ayden Wilson, Julian Green, Katlin Wilson Rowan Green, Connor Lee, Ethan Lee and Alyssa Lee, who were such a joy to his life. He loved playing music on the piano and singing, some of his favorite songs being Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art.
He loved good fellowship, good country cooking (especially “Mommas” home made biscuits) and being with his family.
