Michael Kercheval

Burlington - Michael Francis Kercheval, 50, died peacefully in his home on January 6, 2017. Mike was the much loved son of his father William Kercheval and wife, Carol, of Falls Church, VA, his mother Lynn Flowers and husband, Randy Perryman, of Winston-Salem, NC. He is survived by his loving twin sister Lesley, of Washington, DC and brother, Jason Kercheval and wife, Tara of Kernersville, NC, a niece and nephew Reagan and Andrew, and his grandmother, Lulie H. Flowers of Louisville, KY. His infant son, Michael Scott Kercheval, predeceased him.

Mike earned a degree in communications from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. We remember his kindness and sweet nature, the beautiful boy who brought home birds with broken wings, who loved to read, wrote creative stories, and made us laugh so often. Glad for the gift of him, we will ever hold him in our hearts.

The family will receive visitors at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
