Mellie Peele

Mrs. Mellie Rose Bradley Glenn Peele, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Hospice Home after one month of failing health and critical of one day. She was born in Johnston County, NC to the late Joseph Arthur Bradley and the late Mellie Ann Woodard Bradley. She was a former employee with Stadler's Country Ham. Survivors include her daughter, Dare Glenn Clayton of the home; step-daughter, Carolyn Glenn Powell of Elon; 7 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 2 step great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Howard Glenn and George Peele; daughters, Jane Williams and Betty Small; parents; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. The funeral service will be held 4:00PM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Dr. Terry Farmer. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:45pm Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home with burial to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family at other times will be at the home.
