Max Patrum, 85, of 314 Hawthorne Lane passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at UNC Hopsitals in Chapel Hill. He was the husband of Lulita Patrum and was born December 31, 1923 in Indianapolis, IN to the late James Patrum and Fannie Mason. Max retired from Cone Mills after many years of service. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1952. Survivors include his wife of the home, sons; Bruce Paul Patrum and his wife Vickie of Climax, NC, Andy Patrum and his wife Glynis of Eden, NC, a sister Mabel Neal of Burlington, grandchildren; Julie Cox and her husband Patrick, Benji Patrum, Richard Patrum, Michael Patrum and his wife Julie, great grandchildren; Dillon, Drake, Summer, Joey, Leia and Owen. He was preceded in death by his former wife Gilda Suggs Patrum and a son Billy Gene Patrum. There will be a memorial service held 2:00 PM Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 933 Old Glencoe Rd., Burlington, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.
