Maurice Breeze

Burlington Maurice Warren Breeze, age 84, of 1526 Regency Dr, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the Hospice Home. A native of Person County, he was the husband of Joyce Carver Breeze and son of the late William Azial and Mamie Savannah Bradsher Breeze. Mr. Breeze was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a volunteer at the Hospice Home, Hospice Flea Market and attended Piedmont Presbyterian Church. Longtime employee of AT&T and Bell Labs until his retirement. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Carver Breeze of the home; daughter, Jacque Collins of Chesapeake, VA; son, Melvin Robinson of Hollywood, FL; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Clayton, Violet Breeze, Margaret Loftis and Bernease Foushee all of Hurdle Mills and Betty Lou Hearn of Bartow, FL; brother, Jimmy Breeze of Hurdle Mill. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Ivaline Blaylock and Norma Jean Gray and brother, Wardell Breeze, Melvin Breeze and Russell Breeze. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, February 19, 2013 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Richard E. Hildebrandt and Mr. Jack West. Entombment will follow in the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mr. Breeze will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory through the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6-8pm Monday and at the residence at other times.
