Maryanne Scotti

Elon, NC Maryanne Brasacchio Scotti, age 72, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 24, 2011. She was a native of Brooklyn, New York and the wife of the late Francis William Scotti. Maryanne was a member of St. Gerads Magellan Catholic Church in Terryville, New York for many years and she was a member of the Ladies of the Moose. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Kelly Booth and her husband, Jason of Elon, Kim Broadway and her husband, Tom of Franklinton, NC; sons, Paul Scotti and his wife, Robin of Florida and Stephen Scotti of Florida; eight grandchildren, Nicole Broadway, Madison Booth, Michele Broadway, Bridget Booth, Michael Phinney, Kristen Broadway, Jennifer Scotti and Christiopher Scotti and four great grandchildren; brothers, Anthony Brasacchio and his wife, Florence of New Jersey and Frank Brasacchio and his wife, Elizabeth of New York. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Frank and Vincenza Cassara Brasacchio. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
