Burlington, NC Mary Lloyd Wilborn, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 26, 2006 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Halifax County, Virginia and the wife of the late Thomas H. Wilborn. Mary attended Glen Raven Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Frances Beck and her husband, Letcher of Burlington, Ann Wilborn of Burlington, Wanda Jarrett and her husband, Henry of Haw River, Nancy Smith and her husband, James of Graham and Lottie Epes and her husband, Ronnie of Burlington; son and daughter-n-law, Linnis Wilborn and his wife, Monica of High Point; two step sons and one step daughter; 19 grandchidren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Gaynelle Wilborn of Halifax, Virginia; brother, Herbert Lloyd of Halifax, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, Ellis Wise and Martha Susan Palmer Lloyd; five step sons; three sisters and five brothers; one grandchild and one great grandchild. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Raven Baptist Church by Pastor Bobby Fann and assisted by Pastor Ray Teague and the burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home, 1811 Lower Hopedale Road, Burlington,NC. Memorials may be made to Glen Raven Baptist Church, 335 Glen Raven Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or Lebanon United Methodist Church, 6101 Lebanon Road, Mebane, NC 27302.
