Mary Troxler

Ms. Mary Kathryn Troxler, age 97, of Abingdon, VA, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at her residence after several months of failing health.

Born in Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Theodore Troxler and the late Naomi Waynick Troxler. Before relocating to Virginia, Mary was a longtime resident of Elon and was a lifelong member of Fairview United Methodist Church.

Ms. Troxler is survived by her nephew, David Adrian Kidd and his wife, Susan; two great nephews, Daniel Adrian Kidd and his wife, Morgan Jones-Kidd, and Wesley David Kidd. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Grace Troxler Kidd and Ruth Troxler Beckom.

The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Mark Clark. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 AM Saturday morning prior to the service at Lowe Funeral Home.
