Mary Snider

Burlington, NC Mary Sue Tingen Snider, age 84, of 1714 Pinecrest Street went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Roy Vestal Snider. Mary was employed for many years with Long Hosiery and was a homemaker. She was a member of Northside Presbyterian Church where she was also a member of the Ladies Circle Meetings. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Sue Randolph Baldwin Farrington of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Amber Baldwin Potts and Neil Baldwin; great grandchildren, Jamie-lee Potts and Christopher R. Baldwin; sister, Ollie Cook of Burlington; brother, James Tingen of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Daniel Tingen and Tabbie Duncan Tingen; sisters, Margaret Baker, Tabbie Haney and Eva Crawford; brothers, John, Henry, Aubrey and Graham Tingen. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jim Mitchell and the burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
