Mary Seel

Burlington-Mary Porter Williamson Seel, 91 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Twin Lakes Health Care Center. She was born in Wayne, Michigan and was raised in Detroit. She was the wife of 71 years to Roland George "Rollie" Seel who survives.
Mary was a retired LPN and member of the First Presbyterian Church of Burlington. She was a former member of Great Bridge United Methodist Church in Chesapeake, Virginia and was the first lifetime member of the Chesapeake Women's Club. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of the home; children, David Seel and wife, Elizabeth of Pleasant Garden, NC, Karen S. Boone and husband, Joseph of Niskayuna, NY and Greg Seel and wife, Brenda of Burlington; grandchildren, Paul Seel, Amanda Hoffman, Sarah Zarrelli, Kelly Ventra and Rachel Seel and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank George and Isabella Porter Williamson and a grandson, David Andrew Seel.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Twin Lakes Health Care and Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell for their compassionate care.
The family will have a gathering to celebrate her life on Sunday, February 5, 2017 from 2-4 pm at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory.
