Mary Scheible

Mary B. Scheible,86, formerly of Scotia, N.Y., died on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at Edgewood Place in Burlington, N. C. She was born in Schenectady, N.Y. and was the daughter of Herbert N. and Clara C. Buechner. She is survived by a son, Paul Patricia Scheible of Mebane, N.C. and a brother, William Catherine Buechner of Raleigh, N.C., and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert H. Buechner. Mary was a career educator and spent most of her professional life teaching at Lincoln School in Scotia. She was a lifelong member of Scotia United Methodist Church and a devoted supporter of Schenectady Inner-City Ministries and the Schenectady County Historical Society. A visitation and memorial service will be held at the Scotia United Methodist Church on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. She will be interred in the Vale Cemetery in Schenectady. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund at Scotia United Methodist Church, 201 N. Ten Broeck Street, Scotia, NY 12302 or to the Rachel Fund, Schenectady Inner City Ministry 930 Albany Street, Schenectady, NY 12307.
