Mrs. Mary Kathleen Ivey Morrow, "Ms Kittty", age 93, formerly of Burlington, passed away Friday October 16, 2009 at The Palms of Mt. Pleasant. A native of Chatham County, she was the widow of LeRoy Morrow. She was vice president/treasurer of Burlington Garment Manufacturing and she was a hostess at the Burlington Depot for the Burlington Recreation Dept. She was a long time member of Front Street United Methodist Church where she led the music for the Fanny Larkin Sunday School Class. Survivors include her son, Roger Morrow and his wife Lucy of Mt. Pleasant, SC; her beloved granddaughter and namesake, Kathleen Ivey Morrow "Kim" Seeger and husband Ed of Mt. Pleasant, SC; great grandchildren; Katherine "Katie" Poletti, Matthew Poletti and step great grandchildren, Marie Seeger, Susan Seeger, Eddie Seeger, Lynn Seeger and Billy Seeger; great-great grandchildren; Gavyn, Ayden, Cody and Maria Seeger; brother, Col Thomas E. Ivey of Sumter, SC; sister JoAnn Ivey Tillman of Siler City. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday October 18, 2009 on the Morrow family plot in Pine Hill Cemetery by Dr. Marshall Old, pastor of Front Street United Methodist Church.
