Mary Louise Bryant

Miss Mary Louise Bryant, 95, formerly of Burlington, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 3, 2024 at her sister’s home in Franklinton, NC. She was born on April 27, 1928 in Carroll County, VA to the late Jonathan Byrd Bryant and Susie Mabe Bryant.

 Louise retired after 18 years of service with Bankers and Shippers Insurance Company. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Louise enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

 She is survived by her sister and caretaker, Genevieve Bryant Barnes and husband Grady; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Helen Bryant, Gladys Poteat, Marshall Bryant, Brooks Ogden, Ruby Bryant, Christine Massey, and Caroline Bryant.

The funeral service to celebrate Louise’s life will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by President Bryan Cope, Second Counselor of the Raleigh North Carolina Stake, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10am to 10:45am Wednesday prior to the service.
