Mary Lou Bradsher Robinson, a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 24, 2024. She was 84 years old.
Born on June 3, 1939, in Person County to the late Odie Bradsher and Louise Rimmer Bradsher, Mary Lou's strong Christian faith was evident in all aspects of her life. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church where she found solace and community.
Mary Lou had a passion for crafting, gardening, and traveling to the beach and mountains. Her creativity shone through in the meticulous scrapbooks she created for each of her beloved grandchildren—a testament to her love and thoughtfulness. Mary also was a wonderful cook, she enjoyed making food for her family especially her famous potato salad and coconut cakes.
In her lifetime, Mary Lou was known for her exceptional organizational skills and unwavering kindness. Her genuine care and love touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth and compassion that will be forever remembered.
Mary Lou is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bradsher "Wayne" Robinson; sons Ronnie Robinson and fiancée Sherry, and Eddie Robinson; grandsons Scott, Chris, Travis, Aaron, Tyler, Zack, and Max Robinson; great-grandchildren Jacob, Jason, Greyleigh, Gracelynn, Mason, Julian, K.J., Xzavion, and Caylixx; as well as her sister Martha.
She is preceded in death by her siblings James, Edna, Tom, and Neal.
A Graveside Service to honor and celebrate Mary Lou's life will be held at 3:00 PM on March 29, 2024 at Graham Memorial Park in Graham, NC. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace as her memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
