Mary Long

Gibsonville, NC Mary Lee Baldwin Long, age 79, of Huffine Mill Road went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Alamance Health Care Center. She was a native of Guilford County and the wife of the late Rainey Fletcher Long. Mary was a homemaker and member of Central Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Rainey Long, Jr. and his wife, Gloria of Brevard, Jim Long and his wife, Teresa, Billy Keith Long and his wife, Peggy of Elon; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sister, Christine Harvell of Gibsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Dora Smithey Baldwin. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at 2:00 pm. at the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Willard Stanley and the burial will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister, 3583 Huffine Mill Road, Gibsonville, NC 27249.
