Mary Clark

Gibsonville, NC Mary Evelyn Wyrick Clark, 84 went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 18, 2009. Born on March 12, 1925, she was the daughter of C. Clifton and Marietta P. Wyrick who are both deceased. Evelyn attended Gibsonville Christian Church and was a retired employee of Dixie Bell. She also worked at Pete's Grill in Gibsonville for several years. Survivors include her nieces, Carolyn Henry of Elon, and Judy Brent Shepherd of Gibsonville; grandson, Zachary Protzman and his mother Kim Jenkins, both of Texas; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Lee Protzman; sister, Faye Wyrick Flynn; and brother, Elmer Cleg "Bill" Wyrick. A special thank you to the neighbors and friends who have lovingly cared for her in recent weeks. She loved you all and spoke of your kindness and caring often. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Gibsonville City Cemetery by Rev. Hobert Isley. The family will receive friends at her home and immediately following the interment.
