Mary Bush

Mary Irby Bush, age 62, of South N.C. 87, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at Hospice Home. A native of Person County, she was the wife of the late Ronald McNeal Bush and daughter of the late Cabell Richard and Ruthie Briggs Irby. She had been employed by Jo Cephus Originals, active in Relay for Life and a member of Eastlawn Baptist Church. Survivors include her companion, Billy Garner; daughters, Tiffany Jeffreys and husband Michael of Graham, Roni Michelle Bush and companion Mike Cook of Mebane and Jennifer Watson and husband Kyle of Yanceyville; 2 grandchildren, Michael Jeffreys, Jr. and Amber Jeffreys; sisters, Janie I. Nelson and husband Hugh, Jeanette I. Beaudet and husband Fred all of Burlington; Frances I. Taylor and husband Buck of Rougemont, Peggy I. Talley and Wanda I. Riley of Cedar Grove and Vickie Irby of Prospect Hill; brothers, Jimmy Irby and companion Debbie, Barry Irby all of Prospect Hill and Jackie Irby and wife Sarah of Hillsborough. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Patricia Talley; brothers Ricky Irby, Garry Irby and C.R. Irby, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, August 18, 2014 at the Eastlawn Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Joyner and Rev. Brian Rainbow. Interment will follow in Cooper Cemetery. Mrs. Bush will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 6:30-8:30pm Sunday. At other times the family will be at the home of her daughter, Tiffany Jeffreys; 3042 Wagoner Lane, Graham, NC. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell; 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
