Burlington-Marjorie Anne Spence Brady, 79, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a native of Chatham County and the wife of 58 years to John David Brady who survives. Marjorie was a homemaker and member of Grove Park Baptist Church. She was a member of the church choir and the Bykota Sunday School class. She worked in the nursery for many years where she shared her love for children. Marjorie enjoyed flower gardening and was an avid baseball fan supporting her children in their athletic pursuits. She was a loving and devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, John David Brady of the home; daughters, Kim Brady (Barry) Bandy of Burlington, Karen Brady (Tim) Perry of Elon; son, Scott David (Debbie) Brady of Elon; grandchildren, Chip (Kelley) Euliss, Jim Euliss, Stuart Euliss and fiance, Megan Debelius, Spence Perry and Davis Brady and a brother, Ed (Becky) Spence, III of Siler City. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edmund Spence, Jr. and Anne Louise Hollar Spence. The Brady family would like to thank Marjories special care giver, Darlene Culberson and the nurses and staff of Hospice and Home Care Providers for their kind and compassionate care during Marjories illness. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Grove Park Baptist Church by Rev. Rodger Roach and Rev. David Morton and the burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30-1:45 pm on Saturday at the church and other times at the home.
